Former Warriors to star at Legends Rugby Festival

Fifteen former Warriors players will be reunited when they take part in the Legends Rugby Festival at Wimbledon in South London on Saturday 12 July.

Club centurions Thinus Delport, Tony Windo and Craig Gillies are all set to feature for the Warriors Legends side at the tournament, alongside players such as former captain Ben Hinshelwood and recently retired Sean Perry.

Other teams taking part include Leicester Tigers, Northampton Saints, Saracens, Gloucester, Bristol, Cardiff Blues and London Wasps, with players including Lewis Moody, Phil Greening, Serge Betsen, Dafydd James and Sam Vesty, who have confirmed they will be taking part in this year’s event.

Last year 3000 people attended the festival which combines high-quality rugby with a host of entertainment including DJs and a concert. 

This year's event will have music from covers band Me and Mr Brown and mash-up masters JellyHammer.

DJ Marie Claire, who has played for artists including Rihanna and Kanye West will also be entertaining crowds in the VIP area at July's festival.
