Worcester Warriors picked up the silver award for Operations Team of the Year at the Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards 2014 on Thursday night.
Warriors missed out on the top award to Reading Football Club in a top three which also contained Southampton Football Club.
The recognition came after a year which saw the club welcome Prince Charles to Sixways to present Colours to the Mercian Regiment before hosting 18 matchdays across the season.
Warriors were also nominated for the Conference & Events Sales & Marketing award, Matchday Hospitality award and Media Choice award at the ceremony at the KC Stadium in Hull.
Warriors Head of Operations Brian Ryan said: “The staff at Sixways have consistently gone above the call of duty to ensure people who visit have the best experience they possibly can.
“We were delighted to pick-up the silver award and I would like to thank the panel who voted for us.”
Over 300 guests from football and rugby stadiums across the country celebrated their off-the-pitch successes at the award ceremony.
The annual award ceremony, in its tenth year, aims to recognise the efforts and dedication shown by the
catering, conference and events teams at football and rugby stadiums across the UK.
