With Warriors’ large squad, some of the younger players are a on a dual registration which allows them to go out on loan to other clubs.
Last weekend, 20-year-old tighthead props Alex Gordas and Josh McNulty were both in action for clubs in National League One.
McNulty scored a try in Loughborough Students’ 36-8 win over Blaydon while Gordas impressed for Cinderford despite the side going down 38-29 to Blackheath.
Academy Manager Mark Hewitt said: “It’s important that our young guys are getting game-time as they need to put what they’re learning in the week into match practice.
“Worcester Cavaliers matches and the British & Irish Cup are giving opportunities to a number of our youngsters but our good relationship with other clubs allows them to gain vital exposure at first-team level.
“Therefore, allowing some of these guys to play at other clubs is essential in helping them to grow and gain experience from competitive rugby.”
