Warriors smash £1000 target for Movember

Warriors would like to thank all of those that donated to the Warriors Movember fund, in which the players involved raised over £1000.

A number of the players grew their moustaches in an effort to raise awareness and money which goes towards prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men's mental health.

Warriors’ Heath Stevens said: “Myself and the guys would like to thank everyone for their donations in helping us achieve our target.

“It was fun seeing everyone's efforts but most importantly it's great that we've been able to donate so much money to the charity.”

The club also encouraged supporters to send in their Mo's with the Warriors players selecting the winner as Keith Breese who works as caretaker at RGS The Grange in Worcester.

Stevens added: “Congratulations to Keith who we felt deserved to be the winner of our Movember competition. Out of the pictures we had sent in, his was definitely the most inventive!”

Just because November is over, it's not too late to donate! Click here if you want to make a contribution.
