Sixways play-off semi-final date confirmed

Warriors can confirm that the home leg of their Greene King IPA Championship play-off semi-final will be played at Sixways on Friday 8 May at 7.45pm.

With Warriors sitting 22 points ahead of third-placed London Scottish, the Club have chosen to use their home advantage for the second-leg of the play-off semi-final.

It means the Friday-night lights will return to Sixways in a match which will ultimately decide whether Warriors progress to the Greene King IPA Championship play-off final.

Warriors have enjoyed a fine season in the second-flight of English rugby, winning 16 of their 18 league games.

Dean Ryan’s men currently find themselves three points behind leaders Bristol Rugby at the top of the table but will meet Andy Robinson’s side in the final game of the regular season in a match which could decide who finishes top of the league.

Warriors have also reached the final of the B&I Cup, where they face a tough trip to Doncaster Knights on Good Friday.

And the side will be looking regain their momentum ahead of the season-deciding matches in May.

Tickets for the play-off semi-final will be on sale from early April as the Club prepare for one final push to return to the Aviva Premiership.
