Community Camps focus on ‘fun’ and ‘progression’ says Coach Liam

Warriors’ Community Camps are all about ensuring young rugby players have fun and progress as individuals according to Community Coach Liam Cooper.

Warriors are set for another summer of exciting Community Camps as hundreds of girls and boys from across the region develop their rugby skills under the guidance of the Club’s Community coaches.

And, according to Liam, helping young players develop in a fun environment is what his job is all about.

He said: “As coaches we’re very passionate about what we do and we love to see the progression from the participants. As they get better that’s where we get our buzz.

“There’s a really good atmosphere around the camps. Where the kids’ start in the morning is never where they finish in the afternoon. They’ve always come on leaps and bounds.”

The Warriors Community team will be kicking off their Camps at the end of July so don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of the action and learn the Way of the Warriors.
