Warriors to compete in London Double Header

Warriors have today been selected to face reigning Aviva Premiership champions Saracens at Twickenham in November as part of the London Double Header.

It is the first time Warriors will have participated in the event and their match will kick-off at 3.15pm on Saturday 28 November.

The hotly-anticipated game will be followed by a clash between London Irish and Wasps at 5.30pm on a bumper Saturday of rugby.

Warriors Chief Executive Jim O’Toole said: “To be selected to face last season’s champions at a packed Twickenham is a major coup for this Club and I have no doubt our supporters will get behind us and travel to London in their thousands to cheer us on.

“The London Double Header stands out as one of the biggest weekends of the Aviva Premiership season so it will be a huge honour for everyone involved in the game.”

Premiership Rugby's Commercial Director Dominic Hayes added: “The London Double Header has become one of the highlights of the Aviva Premiership Rugby calendar.

“With Twickenham not available until after the Rugby World Cup this is the earliest we are able to schedule this year's London Double Header but we are pleased that we will we once again deliver a day that club rugby fans really look forward to.”

Tickets for the London Double Header are available through Ticketmaster from just £24 for adults and £10 for children. To buy your ticket click here.
