Cavaliers set for Oxford University test tonight

Warriors second-string side Worcester Cavaliers will take on Oxford University at Iffley Road this evening (kick-off 7.30pm).

Academy Manager Mark Hewitt has named a strong side for the clash against the students with Ben Howard, Max Stelling and Ravai Fatiaki all named in the starting backline. 

Josh Adams, who impressed against Saracens for Warriors earlier this month, starts on the wing while Jamie Shillcock starts at fly-half. 

In the pack, summer signing Carl Kirwan starts at number-eight with Ryan Bower and Dan Sanderson to feature at loosehead prop and lock respectively. 

Academy youngsters Jack Singleton, Gareth Milasinovich, Andrew Kitchener, Sam Ripper-Smith and Zac Xiourouppa are also due to start as the Cavaliers look to get their season off to a winning start.
