Working in partnership with the Aspire Academy

The Aspire Academy is an Alternative Provision Free School providing a positive learning environment for pupils who are finding it difficult to focus on their learning in a mainstream school, and are therefore not able to achieve what they are capable of and are limiting their future life choices.

Some of the pupils will have experienced social and emotional difficulties and require a smaller school setting in which to develop their self-esteem and resilience.

Others may have been at risk of exclusion from school because of their behaviour and require individual guidance about how to cope with stressful situations and encouragement to work out more positive choices for themselves.

The Aspire Academy provides a personalised curriculum with specific interventions and vocational options at both KS3 and KS4.

The Warriors Community Foundation delivers part of the curriculum, in particular sport, PSHE and our very own award-winning Walk Like A Warrior programme.

The students visit us at the stadium but we also work with them at their school which is based in Wainwright Road, just off junction six of the M5.

We utilise the core values of rugby to engage and inspire the students and the sessions are led by our experienced teaching staff and professional coaches.
