Former Warriors Director becomes Life Member

Worcester Warriors are delighted to announce that former Director Roger Murray has become a Life Member of the Club.

Murray left his position on the Warriors Board in September 2015 after 22 years association with Worcester Rugby.

He served initially as President of Worcester RFC from which WRFC Trading Limited, the business which now operates the Worcester Warriors Premiership team emerged when the professional era was born.

Roger subsequently served as a Board Director of the professional club. He continues as a Trustee of the Warriors Community Foundation, the vehicle for the Club’s extensive community, schools and social inclusion programmes.

Warriors Chief Executive Jim O’Toole said: “We are pleased that Roger will now be a Life Member of the Club and it is fitting recognition for all the work he did in helping the Club progress during his time on the Board, especially in the early days of establishing the Warriors brand and the various major developments on that journey.”

Murray said: “My time with Warriors has been an immensely rewarding experience, I am proud of what we have achieved and will of course continue to support and promote Warriors at every opportunity.”
