THE DANGER MEN

Matt Banahan

At 6ft 7in Jersey-born Matt Banahan switched from the pack to the wing with devastating effect, scoring 16 tries in his debut season for Bath Rugby.

Capped 16 times for England – he scored twice in his first two Tests, and featured at the 2011 Rugby World Cup in New Zealand – Banahan is the undisputed top try-scorer in the current Bath squad and at full tilt is the scourge of opposition defences.

A long-time servant of Bath Rugby, Banahan has been a fantastic ambassador for the club since his arrival from the London Irish Academy in 2006. He has now entered an elite group of Bath players who have made over 200 club appearances in the professional era.

Dominic Day

Dominic Day signed for Bath Rugby from Llanelli Scarlets at the start of the 2012/13 season and now finds himself approaching 100 appearances in the Blue, Black and White.

Having made over a century of appearances for the Scarlets in the Pro 12 and the Heineken Cup, Day brought a wealth of experience with him when he crossed the Severn Bridge.

An imposing 6ft 6in and 18st figure, he is an athletic lineout operator as well as being very effective in the loose and he has added an extra dimension to the Bath Rugby second row.

Having won his first senior cap for Wales against Ireland in August 2015, Day was selected in Warren Gatland’s squad for last year’s Rugby World Cup.

Chris Cook

Chris Cook is a graduate of the Bath Rugby Academy, having made his Academy debut back in 2009.

The quick-thinking scrum-half spent much of the 2013/14 season on loan at London Welsh in the Championship. He was at the heart of the Exiles' successful promotion to the Aviva Premiership.

Seven months earlier, Cook had helped Bath United lift the Aviva A League title at Franklin's Gardens. He has since proven himself an important member of the first team – last season proving crucial in the victory in Toulouse with an excellent length-of-the-field effort.
