Aviva Premiership Stats

Warriors have won three of their last four Aviva Premiership games to leapfrog Newcastle Falcons and gain a 13-point advantage over basement side London Irish.

And it’s no wonder Warriors have seen an upturn in fortunes on the pitch, as Dean Ryan’s men are dominating some of the Aviva Premiership stats.

After 16 rounds of the Premiership, England international Chris Pennell has built-up a clear lead in the Metres category, with a sensational 1325 metres made throughout the season.

Second-placed Leicester Tigers full-back Telusa Veainu is trailing Pennell by 175 metres!

And the good news doesn’t end there for the Warriors ever-present as Pennell has made 186 carries this season – second only to Exeter Chiefs powerhouse Thomas Waldrom.

Phil Dowson is also making headlines in the Tackles category, having made 172 tackles, and finds himself second only to Newcastle’s Will Welch.

And Cooper Vuna has also impressed in the Breaks category, topping the table alongside Wasps’ Frank Halai with 22 breaks this season.

The Australia international is also joint-fifth in the Offloads category with 16 this season.
