After this week’s horrific events in Brussels, the Club have taken the decision to check all supporters’ bags on entry to Sixways ahead of Saturday’s game with London Irish.
All supporters who bring bags to the match will be subject to search as the Club implement revised safety protocols.
To avoid delays in entering the stadium the Club ask supporters to only bring bags with them if it is absolutely necessary.
Supporters are also asked to arrive at the stadium as early as possible as these extra safety precautions may lead to slight delays in entering the stadium.
Warriors Chief Executive Jim O’Toole said: “Saturday is a big event, ticket sales have gone really well and supporter peace of mind is a key factor for us so we have taken the decision to check people’s bags as they enter the stadium. It’s not our preferred solution but reflects the times in which we live.
“I encourage fans to arrive early so we aren’t faced with delays caused by large numbers people arriving as kick-off approaches.”
