Francois Hougaard couldn’t really have hoped for a better start to his Warriors career…
After scoring on his debut to help his side to an all-important victory over Sale Sharks, the scrum-half then picked up a man-of-the-match award as Warriors secured a first away win of the season at Newcastle Falcons.
But things have continued to go from strength to strength for the South Africa international, as Warriors went on to make it a perfect March with four wins from four – and Hougaard named Aviva Premiership Player of the Month.
And to put the icing on the cake this week, he has now picked up the Franco Florenzi Player of the Month award, as voted for by you the supporters.
The number nine had 49 per cent of the votes, with Donncha O'Callaghan next behind him with 20 per cent.
Val Rapava Ruskin was in third with nine per cent, with Tom Heathcote, Chris Pennell, Carl Kirwan, Bryce Heem, and Darren Barry also among the votes.
