Warriors unveil Greene King as new main sponsor

Warriors have signed a new deal with Greene King that sees the leading UK brewer and pub retailer become the main sponsor of the Club in a four-year partnership.

Greene King has been a prominent partner of the Warriors for over ten years and will assume main sponsorship, including the front of the team shirt, from the start of the season, which begins with the Singha Premiership Sevens this weekend.

Greene King IPA, the flagship beer of Greene King, has links to Worcestershire as hops grown in the region are often used to brew the beer, which is one of the UK’s best-loved ales.

Warriors Head of Partnerships Leyton Williams commented: “This is a really exciting time for the Warriors commercially.

“Following on from the announcement of our new kit supplier, we now have the country’s leading pub retailer and brewer adding their brand to the front of the Warriors home and away shirts which shows great confidence in what we are trying to achieve.

“There’s more positive news for Warriors fans on the way with a number of other commercial deals to be announced over the next few weeks.”

Joe Parks, Greene King’s On-trade Sales Director, said of the deal: “We have been an avid champion of rugby and of Warriors for many years and we are proud to renew our support and extend our commitment to the Club.

“Our leading British beers, including Greene King IPA, will continue to be served at bars throughout Sixways and we look forward to growing our already strong relationship with the Club and its fans throughout the season ahead.”
