Chris Pennell will miss the start of the new Aviva Premiership season as he recovers from a neck injury.
England international Pennell, who has made 165 appearances for the Club, has not travelled to Tignes for Warriors’ pre-season camp.
Warriors High Performance Director Nick Johnston said: “It is disappointing to lose someone of Chris’ ability and experience but our continued focus on squad development means we have players who can take the opportunity to step up.
“Chris is working closely with our Medical Department to ensure he can return to fitness as soon as possible.”
