Warriors AASE in emphatic win over Yorkshire Carnegie

Warriors AASE side Worcester Sixth Form College stormed to a 67-0 win over Yorkshire Carnegie’s Bishop Burton College in the AASE League last Wednesday. 

Bishop Burton were playing their first-ever game in the AASE League and were given a baptism of fire as Worcester’s youngsters produced an emphatic 11-try victory. 

Ted Hill, who spent the summer months training with the senior Warriors squad, bagged himself a hat-trick while Academy youngster Navarre Haisila Lokotui and Lewis Dorey both notched a brace of tries. 

Cael Hodgson, Nathan Gaiderman, Charlie Gamble and Alex Haselock also got on the scoresheet while Dorey landed six conversions. 

The win puts Worcester top of the North AASE League.

AASE Manager Ryan Watkins said: “We will be having a tough week of training this week as we don't have a game. 

“The focus is now on improving as much as we can before our next game where we’ll be looking to maintain our 100 per cent record.”
