Bregvadze wins Player of the Month award

Warriors hooker Jaba Bregvadze has won the Club’s October Player of the Month award.

The powerful Georgian picked up 39 per cent of the votes ahead of Jamie Shillcock (24 per cent) and Jackson Willison (18 per cent) in the top three.

Bregvadze, who is currently away on international duty, impressed for Warriors after making his first start of the season against Leicester Tigers in early October, where he also crossed the whitewash for his maiden Club try.

He also shone in Warriors' clash with Harlequins towards the end of the month, playing an instrumental role in Willison's try as the visitors dominated the first-half against a star-studded Quins.

England's Ben Te'o picked up eight per cent of the votes while Dean Hammond, Josh Adams, Matt Cox and Jonny Arr were also among the nominees.
