Warriors stars reveal things you didn’t know when quizzed by next generation fans

Worcester Warriors trio Jackson Willison, James Johnston and Tom Biggs have been put through a gruelling interview by an Aviva next generation ultimate mini fan.

They were placed in the spotlight, answered a few unusual questions about themselves, and went head-to-head with a seven-year-old mini rugby fan, all in celebration of Aviva’s seven years of title sponsorship.

As part of these celebrations, Aviva will be giving away two season tickets to a lucky Warriors fan for next season. Simply register here for your chance to win (Ts&Cs apply).

The Warriors stars took part in a light-hearted interview with Mason, a fan born in 2010 – the first year of Aviva’s sponsorship. Having faced a selection of tricky questions chosen by the seven-year-old, they tested their arm-wrestling skills, shared their greatest sporting moment and more.

The past seven years have also seen Aviva and Premiership Rugby join forces to support community projects. Initially, the Aviva Premiership Rugby Schools Programme delivered tag rugby in schools deemed ‘new to rugby’, resulting in 108,000 children being introduced to the sport and 1,200 teachers being taught how to deliver tag rugby sessions.

In the last three seasons Aviva Tackling Numbers – an innovative and engaging programme for seven to nine-year-olds – has used rugby to make learning about numbers fun, exciting and rewarding. Delivered by the 12 Premiership Rugby clubs, the programme has been a resounding success, resulting in a total of 1,357 teachers downloading the Aviva Tackling Numbers lesson plans and reaching an impressive 26,610 children in the process.

Henrietta Flynn, Head of Brand, Content, CR & Sponsorship at Aviva, said: “The long and successful partnership between Aviva and Premiership Rugby has created some great memories both on and off the pitch. We appreciate it’s the brilliant fans who make the competition what it is and to say thank you, I’m proud to say Aviva will be giving away two season tickets to one fan of each Premiership Rugby club. It’s great to see the next generation of fans are so enthusiastic about the game and I have no doubt that the league will go from strength to strength in the years to come.”
