Hougaard picked for Springboks ahead of France series

Warriors’ Francois Hougaard has been named in South Africa’s 31-man squad for their upcoming home series against France.

The scrum-half was in scintillating form towards the end of the 2016/17 Premiership campaign and has been rewarded with a  call-up to the Springbok side, as he looks to build on his 39 international caps.

Hougaard, who has now played 19 times for Warriors, provided four try assists and scored two tries in his nine league appearances last term.
