Clegg and Butler through to World Championship final

Will Butler and Justin Clegg helped England Under 20s to a dramatic 24-22 win over South Africa in the World Rugby Under 20 Championship semi-finals.

A late converted Zach Mercer try gives England the chance to retain their title in Sunday’s final (kick-off 3pm BST).

England will meet New Zealand in the final after the southern hemisphere side defeated France in the second semi-final.

England and New Zealand have won eight Under 20 finals between them and Sunday's showpiece event will be England's fifth consecutive final in the tournament.

Meanwhile Tom Dodd helped Scotland Under 20s to a 29-25 victory over Wales in another enthralling game in the fifth-place semi-final, which guaranteed their highest-ever finish in the competition.

They will now face Australia Under 20s on Sunday at 10am (BST) after defeating Italy 42-19.
