Miller & Carter September Player of the Month

It’s been a tough first month of action for Warriors in the Aviva Premiership where they’ve come up against some of the best sides in the competition.

European champions Saracens and last season’s Premiership finalists Wasps and Exeter Chiefs proved too hot to handle at Sixways, while in-form Newcastle Falcons were too strong in the North on the opening day.

Warriors will feel a bit hard done by with just their one point to show so far – a bonus point away at Gloucester Rugby – a game in which they came so close to securing a stunning victory.

But with players returning from injury and new blood in fly-half Jono Lance, there is plenty of optimism for the rest of the season.
