TEAM NEWS | Haupt set for debut as Warriors make seven changes

Haupt one of seven changes as Warriors face Harlequins

Warriors will hand a debut to new signing Kurt Haupt who is one of seven changes to the starting line-up ahead of their Anglo-Welsh Cup clash with Harlequins at Twickenham Stoop on Sunday (kick-off 3pm).

Ben Howard and Academy winger Alex Hearle are both set for their first appearances of the season in the back three alongside the in-form Dean Hammond.

Will Butler skippers the side again from midfield next to Max Stelling while Luke Baldwin and Sam Olver prepare for their first starts of the campaign in the half-back combination.

The front row sees Simon Kerrod handed his first Warriors start alongside Haupt and Ryan Bower, while Darren Barry and Christian Scotland-Williamson continue their partnership in the second row.

Huw Taylor, Andrew Durutalo and Tom Dodd all keep their places in the back row.

Joe Taufete’e is named among the replacements before he gets set to join the USA on international duty while Gareth Milasinovich and Nick Schonert are also on the bench.

Academy utility back Afeafe Haisila Lokotui could be in line for his first appearance of the campaign while Under 18 youngster Ollie Lawrence is also in the squad, after scoring off the bench on his debut against Sale Sharks last weekend.

Warriors ran in six tries on their last visit to the Stoop just two weeks ago but will be hoping to finish on the right end of the scoreline this time out.
