Adams wins November Player of the Month

Adams awarded Miller & Carter Player of the Month for November

Warriors flier Josh Adams has been awarded the November Miller & Carter Player of the Month award.

The Welsh wing wizard only played twice in November but was in scintillating form as he scored three tries in just two games in two memorable victories for Warriors.

Adams linked up with Chris Pennell for a superb try against Northampton Saints at Sixways as he scored one of Warriors’ four tries in an all-important 30-15 win.

A week later, he picked up from Ryan Mills’ kick in behind the Leicester Tigers defence to score before a whirlwind solo try as he left six players in his wake to score his second before Warriors went on to win 31-27 at Welford Road.

Adams picked up 29 per cent of the votes ahead of Bryce Heem (16), Will Spencer (14) and Ryan Mills (12).

Adams picks up a £50 voucher to spend at Miller & Carter restaurant in Worcester after his impressive month.

The 22-year-old was also shortlisted for the Aviva Premiership Player of the Month award alongside fellow Warrior Francois Hougaard, Exeter Chiefs’ Olly Woodburn, and Gloucester Rugby’s Ruan Ackermann, with the latter picking up the award on Wednesday.
