Five Warriors youngsters in England Under 20 squad for Six Nations opener

Academy quintet in squad for Friday’s Italy clash

Warriors quintet Will Butler, Beck Cutting, Ted Hill, Joe Morris and James Scott have all been called up to England Under 20s’ 26-man squad ahead of Friday night’s game versus Italy (kick-off 6pm GMT, local time 7pm).

The squad, who will be led by Head Coach Steve Bates, assembled at Bisham Abbey National Sports Centre on Sunday ahead of Friday’s match at Stadio Enzo Bearzot, Gorizia.

England include 12 players capped at this level, with nine also part of the squad that reached the final of the World Rugby Under 20 Championship in Georgia last year.

Bates will be assisted by Anthony Allen, Richard Blaze and James Ponton as part of the coach development programme agreement signed between the RFU and Premiership Rugby.
