Warriors trio named in England Under 20s squad for France trip

Warriors Academy trio Will Butler, James Scott and Ted Hill have been named on the bench for England Under 20s as they face France in Beziers on Friday (kick-off 8pm GMT).

England sit second in the Under 20 Six Nations table going into the clash at Stade de la Mediterranee, while France are top after three victories. England claimed two bonus-point victories before losing to Scotland last time out.

Head Coach Steve Bates said: “Friday is going to be a massive challenge for the squad but it is one we’re relishing.

“I want to see us bounce back from the disappointment of losing to Scotland. We have to match France physically and play with intensity. I expect our forwards to be abrasive and our backs to play at a high-tempo.

“We have to be more accurate with the ball, keep our composure and raise our game.”
