Double award recognition for Adams

Warriors Rugby Supporters Club dish out end of season awards

Josh Adams has been rewarded for an outstanding season at Sixways by being named as the WRSC Player of the Season and WRSC Young Player of the Season.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form this season and currently tops the Aviva Premiership try-scoring charts alongside Vereniki Goneva after racking up 13 tries in 20 games.

During the 2017/18 campaign, Adams scored in six consecutive Premiership games and was called up to the Wales NatWest 6 Nations squad in January.

He made his international debut against Scotland in the opening game of this season’s 6 Nations as Wales recorded an impressive 34-7 and has become an influential player at Sixways, helping the Club secure Premiership survival last weekend.

Meanwhile, Warriors Kit Manager Chris Derrick has been recognised for his commitment to the Club after picking up the WRSC True Warrior award.

Derrick has made a huge contribution to the Club for over a decade and has demonstrated huge dedication to ensure matchday preparations run smoothly.

In 2017 he also ran the London Marathon to raise money for Warriors’ Charity Partner Acorns Children’s Hospice and continues to go above and beyond.
