Miller signs new deal at Sixways

Isaac Miller has put pen to paper on a new contract to extend his stay at Sixways.

The hooker arrived at Warriors from London Scottish in the summer but was ruled out of action until this month after fracturing his collarbone in the pre-season game against Benetton Rugby.

He made his competitive Warriors debut as a replacement in last Friday’s clash with Pau in the European Challenge Cup.

Twenty-four-year-old Miller previously impressed in the Championship during one season at London Scottish, where he captained the side on occasions.

He has also represented Scotland at Under 20s level and captained Loughborough Students in National League One.

Miller said: “The opening few months of the season were obviously a very frustrating time for me as I wasn’t able to get out on the pitch.

“But the environment at the Club is fantastic and I have massively enjoyed being part of this group.

“The Club have been fantastic with me in helping me overcome my injury and I am very grateful for the support of the backroom staff, coaches and players.

“It was great to make my debut in France last week and I am delighted to have signed a new deal.”

Warriors Director of Rugby Alan Solomons said: “Isaac made an excellent impression in pre-season and it was disappointing that he was injured in our first pre-season game against Benetton.

“There is no doubting his potential and professionalism and it is good to see him extending his stay with the Club.”
