Warriors regret to announce that today’s Premiership Rugby Shield match against Leicester Tigers Development XV at Sixways has been cancelled.
Leicester informed Warriors late this morning that they would not be travelling for the fixture due to a combination of illness and late notice withdrawals.
Warriors will now await a ruling from Premiership Rugby as to whether the match will have to be rearranged for a new date after the circumstances surrounding today’s cancellation have been considered.
Warriors apologise for the inconvenience this will inevitably cause spectators, particularly those who may already have travelled to Sixways.
Spectators who have already purchased tickets for today’s match will be entitled to a full refund.
