Te’o retains England place as Jones steps up preparations

Warriors centre Ben Te’o has been retained by England Head Coach Eddie Jones in a squad of 25 players who will continue their preparations for Saturday’s Guinness Six Nations match against Wales at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff.

Te’o missed the wins over Ireland and France because of a side strain but he returned to training with Warriors last week and was then called into England’s initial training squad.

Jones added eight more players, including Warriors hooker Jack Singleton, to his squad on Sunday but has again reduced it to 25 to complete England’s preparations at their training base at Pennyhill Park.

Te’o, who played twice for the British and Irish Lions in New Zealand in 2017, won the last of his 16 England caps in the win over Australia at Twickenham in November.
