Generous Butler uses birthday bash as Acorns fund-raiser

Warriors centre Will Butler has raised more than £820 for the Acorns Children’s Hospice.

Butler raised the money at his recent 21st birthday party, an event he decided would also use to support Acorns, Warriors’ charity partner.

“I wanted to support the club’s charity as they do a great job in Worcester and I look forward to visiting the hospice this season to see the work they do,” Butler said.

Warriors players regularly visit Acorns with hooker Niall Annett the club’s ambassador for the hospice.

Warriors also hold an annual Charity Match for Acorns with a range of fund-raising activities including specially-designed shirts which are then auctioned off with all proceeds going to the hospice.
