Warriors line-up for 2019/20 photocall

Warriors players and coaching staff met the media at the club’s annual photocall at Sixways.

The full first team squad, senior Academy players, coaches and backroom staff lined up for the traditional team photograph.

The players then had individual head-and-shoulders photographs taken and then took part in a video  content session with ADI, the providers of the new LED big screens that will be installed at Sixways for the 2019/20 season.

National, regional and local media had the chance to take squad and individual photographs and to get the low-down from Director of Rugby Alan Solomons and the players on the forthcoming season.

Players, including captain GJ van Velze and new recruits Jono Kitto, Graham Kitchener and Matt Moulds were interviewed by television, radio, newspapers and websites for their pre-season previews.

Wing Ed Fidow, who has been called up by Samoa for training ahead of next month’s Rugby World Cup, back-row forward Marco Mama, who is having a short break in his native Zimbabwe, scrum-half Luke Baldwin, who is on a season-long loan at Dragons, and scrum coach Mefin Davies were the only absentees.

The new season kicks off at Sixways on Saturday September 21 when Leicester Tigers are the visitors for the opening match in the Premiership Rugby Cup (kick-off 3.00pm).
