Academy six sign dual registrations

Six members of the Three Pears Warriors Academy have signed dual registrations to play either Greene King IPA Championship or National One rugby this season.

England Under-20s pair, loosehead prop Kai Owen and James Scott, plus wing Alex Hearle have been dual registered to play for Hartpury in the Championship.

Centre Oli Morris – who has joined Warriors from Saracens – fly-half Luke Scully and back-row forward Morgan Monks will further their rugby development by playing for Birmingham Moseley in National One on similar agreements.

Hartpury do not start their league campaign until September 21 and Moseley have not named any of the Warriors trio, who are currently on a week off, in their squad for Saturday’s league opener against Hull Ionians at Billesley Common.

But former Warriors favourite, scrum-half Jonny Arr, will captain Moseley with wing Mason Tonks, a former Three Pears Warriors Academy player, also in their starting XV.
