Joe Taufete’e to start against England

Joe Taufete’e will start for the USA in their opening Rugby World Cup clash against England on Thursday in Kobe (kick-off 11.45am BST).

The hooker will earn his 24th international cap and plays in his second World Cup game after making his debut against South Africa in England four years ago.

Taufete’e will also be looking to add to his try total after breaking Keith Wood’s record for tries by a front row forward earlier this year. Taufete’e will go into Thursday’s match with 16 tries to his name.

USA will also face Tonga, Argentina and France in Pool C.
