Will Butler opens nursery at King’s St Alban’s

Centre Will Butler was on hand to help open a new nursery at King’s St Alban’s. The school sponsor the young Warrior and held the official opening of their new purpose-built facility last week.

The opening of the nursery marks ten years since that of the King’s Pre-Prep building and expands the Early Year’s offering at the King’s Worcester city centre campus to include pre-school children aged two to four.

The ribbon was cut by Butler from who delighted some of the older pupils of the school by chatting to them about his rugby career.

Butler said, “It’s been so inspiring spending time with the next generation, they had some fascinating questions and kept me on my toes with the Q&A session.

“It’s be lovely to be part of the official opening too. The little ones are so lucky to have such a wonderful space to explore, both inside and outside.”

The nursery, which has been operational since the start of September, has recently been transformed by the acquisition of a neighbouring house and subsequent expansion of its outdoor learning area.
