Warriors’ flanker Ted Hill has been included in England’s 35-strong squad who have reported to Pennyhill Park for training ahead of Saturday’s Guinness Six Nations match against Scotland at Murrayfield.
Hill was involved in England’s pre-tournament training camp in Portugal last week but was not included in the matchday squad for Sunday’s defeat by France in Paris.
Hill, who recently signed a two-year contract extension with Warriors, has already been capped once by England at senior level, as a replacement against Japan at Twickenham in November 2018.
Meanwhile Warriors’ pair Cornell du Preez and Duncan Weir have been retained in Scotland’s 37-strong squad who are preparing for their defence of the Calcutta Cup.
Number eight du Preez made his international return after a two years absence as a replacement in Saturday’s defeat by Ireland in Dublin.
Fly-half Weir was not included in the matchday squad in Dublin but has retained his place in Scotland’s training squad in the continued absence of Finn Russell.
