Join Lockdown Live from Sixways on May 29

Warriors supporters may be prevented from visiting  Sixways in person during the Coronavirus lockdown but they will be able to tune in to Youthcomm Radio 106.7fm  live from the stadium on Friday May 29.

Warriors will be hosting Lockdown Live from Sixways, sponsored by Adam Hewitt Limited  between 6pm and 9pm with local  Youthcomm Radio hosting the event live from the main pitch. The event will also be streamed live online on YouTube.

Players including: Chris Pennell, Niall Annett, Ryan Bower, Justin Clegg and Marco Mama will be on the show to talk about the amazing work that Warriors Community Foundation does in the local area, and has been doing for the last ten years.

The Foundation now needs the support of the community to raise vital funds to continue all this  work in the future.

The Foundation, like many other charities, has been badly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic reducing its ability to raise funds.

Foundation staff are still supporting the most vulnerable people in the community by calling them regularly, chatting to them via Zoom and keeping in constant contact to ensure everyone is coping.

Foundation staff have also been volunteering to deliver vital food and medicines to participants who are isolated and vulnerable.

That support will become even more important once the lockdown regulations ease and vulnerable people come out of isolation and attempt to return to normality.

To ensure that pioneering initiatives such as the Tackling Dementia Sports Cafés, the Homeless Rugby Programme and Disability Sports and Inclusion programmes are there to provide that support the Foundation needs to generate vital funds now.

By donating £10 or more Warriors supporters will get a shout out from a player which will be read out live on Youthcom during Lockdown Live from Sixways.
