Warriors dedicate Round 17 to players’ mental health

Round 17 of the Gallagher Premiership is dedicated to Restart and we are getting behind them to raise awareness and funds to support our players’ mental health.

Restart is a charity that supports current and former players facing serious injury, illness or hardship. During Round 17, we want to raise as much as we can across the Gallagher Premiership for Restart’s Confidential Counselling Service which helps players struggling with their mental health.

“In recent months, Restart has continued to support my teammate Michael Fatialofa and his family during a tough time,” said Ethan Waller, Warriors’ Restart Weekend Ambassador.

“Seeing the support for Michael from our rugby family was incredible and Restart was instrumental in that. There are players every season, like Michael, that Restart does everything they can to help both practically and emotionally.

“Let’s do what we can to show our support for Restart in return, not just for Michael, but for so many players across the Premiership. Let’s get behind Restart Weekend.”
