Bartercard UK unveiled as North Stand sponsor

Warriors have unveiled Bartercard UK as the sponsor of the North Stand at Sixways and the club’s Official Trade Exchange Partner.

As part of the three-year deal, the name of the trading platform company will be displayed prominently across the roof of the North Stand at the Galllagher Premiership stadium.

“We are delighted to welcome Bartercard UK on board as a new commercial partner and we look forward to welcoming them to Sixways,” said Warriors Managing Director Peter Kelly.

“Bartercard is a successful national company with offices across the UK and we hope that our partnership will be mutually beneficial.

“The North Stand has already been rebranded with Bartercard logos which look superb and will be prominently displayed on television whenever Duncan Weir or Billy Searle kick penalties or conversions at that end of the ground.”

Bartercard is a global business-to-business network with 55,000 members who are part of this trade exchange purchasing products and services with their own products and services.

Bartering is the oldest form of commerce but Bartercard has modernized this industry by introducing a unique digital currency – trade pounds – to form a truly cashless society.  Over £425 million is traded on the Bartercard network each year.

“Bartercard is a platform that allows small or medium-sized enterprises to accept an additional form of revenue during their quieter periods,” said Chris Kirby, Managing Director at Bartercard UK.

“By offering each new member a money-back sales guarantee, along with an interest-free line of credit, it allows the business flexibility to purchase through our platform with the assurance that we will guarantee you the sales to pay it back.

“Investing our digital currency into Worcester Warriors means that we have formed a long-lasting partnership and gives us the opportunity to speak with local businesses about we can support freeing up their cash flow.”
