Warriors loosehead prop Kai Owen will play for Coventry against Saracens in Friday’s warm-up match for the Greene King IPA Championship season at the Butts Park Arena (kick-off 6.00pm).
Former England Under-20 international Owen has joined Coventry on an initial one-match loan deal which will be-reassessed next week.
Owen had a spell in Coventry’s Development XV and has previously played for Hartpury and Yorkshire Carnegie in the Championship and Birmingham Moseley in National One on loan or a dual registration.
He is the second Warriors player to go out on loan this month, following lock James Scott who is spending six weeks with Glasgow Warriors in the Guinness Pro-14.
