West End star Natalie Hope is relishing the prospect of performing in front of a live audience when she takes to the stage in An Evening of ABBA at Sixways this Friday evening.
The Legally Blonde and Our House star says it will be an ‘absolute joy’ to perform in front of an audience again after nearly two years.
“I can’t tell you how much of a thrill it will be to be on stage again,” Natalie told BBC Hereford and Worcester.
“It’s great to see the theatre and other venues starting to open up again, with people enjoying live music which I guess we took for granted previously.”
Giving us an insight into the concert, which still has tickets available, Natalie added: “It’s certainly not a tribute act – it has got all of the best bits of ABBA performed by an amazing band and three incredible West End performers, who have been involved in the West End production of Mama Mia!
“As a vocalist, these songs are challenging and there’s such a wide range of music to perform. The Winner Takes It All is my favourite moment in the show and there are some incredible scenes where we get to party to hits such as Dancing Queen and Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!
“I love every moment of this show and it’s incredible to be part of. There’s sequins galore – it’s a real spectacle and the audience will get to see some incredible musicians at work.”
