Stourport HS and Sixth Form College, Warriors RFU ACE League team, were beaten 50-22 by Brooksby Melton College, their counterparts from Leicester Tigers, in their latest match at Sixways.
Stourport started brightly but could not sustain the early pace and were well beaten by a side pushing to win the competition’s North Group.
Stourport scored tries through wing Mike Yalland (unattached), loosehead prop Fin Haynes (Claverdon) and hooker Ethan Allen (Telford Hornets) with fly-half Dan Chambers of Wolverhampton converting two of the tries and adding a penalty.
Stourport completed their group programme on Wednesday October 13 with a trip to Lancashire to play Myerscough College, their Sale Sharks counterparts.
