Loan watch | Warriors quartet are National Leagues winners

Kai Owen, Joe Morris, Seb Atkinson and Finn Theobald-Thomas enjoyed victory on a weekend of mixed results for Warriors players on loan at RFU Championship or National League clubs.

Props Owen and Morris helped Birmingham Moseley to a 34-21 victory over Tonbridge Juddians in National One at Billesley Common on Saturday.

Both came off the bench – loosehead Owen for his first appearance for Moseley in three years and tighthead Morris for his debut – as the Birmingham club ended a run of two straight defeats with a bonus point victory.

Centre Atkinson and hooker Theobald-Thomas helped Stourbridge maintain their unbeaten start to the season with a 61-22 win over Huddersfield at Stourton Park.

Both came off the bench, Atkinson for his debut, as Stourbridge ran in nine tries against their outgunned visitors.

But there were defeats for four more Warriors players on loan in the RFU Championship.

Wing Tom Howe had a try disallowed and hooker Joe Richardson came off the bench midway through the second half for Coventry in their 18-7 defeat at Hartpury on Friday.

Number eight Morgan Monks and scrum-half Ollie Wynn started for Ampthill in the Bedfordshire derby at Dillingham Park where visitors Bedford ran out 53-34 winners.
