Theobald-Thomas set for Coventry debut

Three Pears Warriors Academy hooker Finn Theobald-Thomas is set to make his Championship debut for Coventry against Nottingham at the Butts Park Arena on Saturday.

Theobald-Thomas has been on a dual registration with Stourbridge in National Two North but has now joined Coventry on a similar arrangement.

Theobald-Thomas comes straight into the matchday squad for Nottingham’s visit and has been named as a replacement with his Warriors team-mate Joe Richardson Coventry’s starting hooker.

They are among seven Warriors players who will be in loan or dual registration action on Saturday.

Back-row forward Caleb Montgomery will start for Cornish Pirates in their Championship match against London Scottish at the Richmond Athletic Ground on Saturday.

In National Two North, flanker Jack Forsythe will start for Luctonians in their re-arranged game against Chester at Mortimer Park. Loosehead prop Ben Murphy is among Luctonians’ replacements.

Centre Seb Atkinson will start for unbeaten Stourbridge in their rearranged game at Loughborough Students with his Warriors team-mate, wing Tobi Wilson, on the bench.
