Duhan Van der Merwe to start for Scotland

Warriors wing Duhan van der Merwe will win his 12th Scotland cap in Saturday’s Autumn Nations Series match against South Africa at BT Murrayfield (kick-off 1pm).

Van der Merwe started against Australia at Murrayfield on Sunday and won his first Scotland cap since he joined Warriors from Edinburgh Rugby during the summer.

The British and Irish Lions international played the full 80 minutes against Australia and will again start against world champions South Africa this weekend.

Van der Merwe won his first cap against Georgia in October 2020 and has now scored eight tries for Scotland, finishing on the winning side in seven of his 11 games for them.
