Warriors trio help Stourbridge to top of table

Warriors’ trio Seb Atkinson, Finn Theobald-Thomas and Tobi Wilson helped Stourbridge go top of National Two North with a thrilling 32-31 win over Sedgley Park at Stourton Park on Saturday.

The match pitted the two unbeaten sides in the league against each other and it was Stourbridge who maintained their 100 per cent record thanks to a last minute penalty from former Warriors scrum-half Michael Heaney.

Atkinson started at fly-half with hooker Theobald-Thomas and wing Wilson both used as replacements in a pulsating contest.

Two more Warriors players also celebrated victory as Luctonians edged out Bournville 17-11 at Mortimer Park.

Flanker Jack Forsythe and loosehead prop Ben Murphy both came off the bench to help Luctonians to their first home win of the season.

Warriors tighthead prop Joe Morris started for Birmingham Moseley in their 29-8 home defeat by Rosslyn Park at Billesley Common in National One.
