Stourport set for shot at final place

Stourport HS & Sixth Form College, Warriors’ RFU ACE League team, will have the chance to reach this season’s Plate final when they host Myerscough College at Sixways on Wednesday (kick-off 3.00pm).

Having beaten Oaklands College, their Saracens’ counterparts, in their first play-off match last week, Stourport now host Sale Sharks’ ACE team knowing that another win will secure a place in the Plate final at Finals Day.

Stourport beat Myerscough College 39-29 at their campus near Preston in their final match in the North Group last month.

Wing Mikey Yalland returns to Stourport’s squad from injury and he has been named among the replacements.
