Warriors ACE League team warm up for Plate final

Stourport HS & Sixth Form College will complete their preparations for next week’s RFU ACE League Plate final with a friendly against Hartpury College at Sixways on Wednesday (kick-off 3.30pm).

The match should prove a good test for Stourport as Hartpury, their counterparts from Gloucester Rugby, will contest next week’s ACE Cup final against City of Oxford College and they are unbeaten this season.

Stourport will meet Beechen Cliff School, their counterparts from Bath Rugby, in the Plate final- the ninth place play-off – at Stourbridge’s Stourton Park on Wednesday December 8 (kick-off 10.30am) having beaten Myerscough College in their final play-off match two weeks ago.

The RFU ACE (formerly AASE) programme aims to provide an outstanding rugby and academic development programme for talented players to achieve their potential both on and off the pitch.
