Warriors will kick off their Premiership Rugby Under-18s Academy League season with a home game against Sale Sharks which will be part of an exciting double header at Sixways on Saturday December 18.
The Under-18s will play Sale at 5.45pm, the second match of the day following Warriors’ European Challenge Cup match against Biarritz Olympique which kicks off at 3.15pm.
The Under-18s Academy League returns after a two-year absence caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Warriors finished third in the 2019/20 Academy League, beating Saracens at Finals Day which was played at Sixways. Warriors squad included Fin Smith, Seb Atkinson, Tobi Wilson, Ollie Wynn, Joe Richardson, Ben Murphy, Finn Theobald-Thomas and Jack Forsythe who are now in the Three Pears Warriors Academy.
Following last season’s cancellation, a full programme of matches has been scheduled for this season with Warriors travelling to Aylesbury RFC to play Wasps on Saturday January 8 (kick-off 2.00pm) before returning to Sixways for the visit of Northampton Saints on Sunday January 16 (kick-off 1.30pm).
A long trip to Kingston Park to face Newcastle Falcons follows on Saturday January 22 (kick-off 2.30pm) followed by a home match against Leicester Tigers on Sunday February 6 (kick-off 1.00pm).
Warriors complete their group programme with a trip to Castle Park, home of Doncaster Knights, and a match against the Yorkshire Rugby Academy on Saturday February 12 (kick-off 2.00pm).
Finals Day will again be held at Sixways on Sunday February 27.
