Scotland international joins Warriors Women

Scotland international prop Lisa Cockburn has joined Warriors Women from DMP Durham Sharks.

The 28-year-old strengthens Warriors’ front-row options ahead of a busy run of games in the lead up to Christmas, with Exeter, Bristol Bears and Gloucester all set to visit Sixways.

Featuring at this year’s Six Nations Championship, Cockburn has 22 Scotland caps to her name since making her debut against Italy in 2018.

Cockburn joins fellow Scots Lana Skeldon and Club Captain Lyndsay O’Donnell in pulling on the Warriors jersey.

“I’m really excited to be joining Worcester Warriors,” said Cockburn.

“It’s hard to leave a club I’ve been at for eight years, but I’m ready for the next step in my rugby career at this fantastic club.”

“We are really excited to have Lisa join us,” said Jo Yapp, Warriors Women’s Director of Rugby.

“Her international experience will add to an already very competitive front-row and I’m looking forward to seeing her in action.”
